TypeScript continues to empower developers to write robust, maintainable codebases. Let us review some of the most impactful patterns that have matured over recent releases.

## The Power of the `satisfies` Operator

The `satisfies` operator allows you to validate an expression matches a type without widening or erasing specific literals:

```typescript
type Color = 'red' | 'green' | 'blue'
type RGB = [red: number, green: number, blue: number]
const palette = {
  primary: 'red',
  secondary: [0, 255, 0],
} satisfies Record<string, Color | RGB>
// palette.primary is statically known to be 'red', not string!
const upper = palette.primary.toUpperCase()
```

## Type-Safe Path Routing

Recursive mapped types now power end-to-end routing libraries like TanStack Router, catching broken links at compile time.
